Royaneh Village

Wecome to Royaneh Village
of Achewon Nimat Lodge.

Royaneh Village serves the Golden Gate District of the San Franciso Bay Area Council. With a history of service that dates back to 1945 we continue to provide leadership and service to the Packs, Troops, District and Council.

Our village name "Royaneh" comes from Camp Royaneh, and our history as Royaneh Lodge.

That name in turn comes from the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Confederation, where the Royaneh were those chiefs who were exemplary spokesman for the people, and answerable to them for decisions made for their familes, clans, nations, and the confederation as a whole. More infomation can be found in the Wikipedia Haudenosaunee webpage.

The village calendar and village contacts can now be found on their own pages.
